    Jaelyn started dancing at just 4 years old when she attended an Arts Magnet School located in Landover , MD. She later joined Fran’s Studio of Dance in Oxon Hill, where she was trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Theatrical Performance. Shortly after, Jaelyn became the Dance Program Scholarship Winner at her high school, Bishop McNamara, where she trained in Lyrical and African Dance. She was a member of the Dance Team, F.A.D.E program (Fine Arts Diploma Endorsement), and student council. Outside of school, Jaelyn was a member of the Capitol Movement Pre-professional Company and volunteered at Queen Anne Dance Camp over the summer.

    Upon high school graduation, Jaelyn was accepted into the Dance Program at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where she continued her education majoring in Dance and Music. She was also a member of the Diamond Gems Dance Team and danced with B.A.M.N (By Any Means Necessary) Hip Hop Club. After college, Jaelyn moved back to the DC/MD area where she continued to take classes at the Dance Institute of Washington and joined Capitol Movement Adult Company.

    Now, Jaelyn has taken a step back from dancing personally and wants to provide her students with the same opportunities to learn and grow in dance that she has had throughout her life. Jaelyn now teaches Jazz, Tap, Ballet and Lyrical for children ranging from 5 to 17 years old.
