Briana PacoraTeacher

    A Graduate of Towson University in Baltimore, MD. She has received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance, and concentration in Business. Briana began her love for dance at the age of 3 at Yokota Air Force Base, Japan under the direction of Debby Yuile. Growing up and developing her love of dance with many different Dance Studios in the D.C. Maryland and Virginia Area, and competing with Dance Depot while completing her early dance education. During her time at Towson University as a Dance Major Briana has both performed and choreographed many works as a principal and ensemble dancer in works such as, “Bill T. Jones’, Continuous Replay” as the clock and Alvin Ailey Pieces “House of the Rising Sun,” “Escapades” and Robert Battle’s Battlefield. After graduating college, Briana enjoyed choreographing and teaching technique and master classes for numerous dance studios in and throughout the East Coast such as Woodbridge Academy of Dance, Urbana Dance Studio, Broadway Performing Arts Dance Studio, The Movement Studios and Power Explosion to name a few. Briana has not only enjoyed teaching and shaping the next generation of talented dancers but has also performed for various companies throughout her career doing shows such as “Dancing with the Stars in Horrey County” in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina under the direction of Chris Robbins. At Cedar Point she had the opportunity in performing in their Premier shows such as “Luminosity,” and “Hullabaloo” as a dancer and singer. After performing on Land, she ventured out to sea performing with Cruise Lines as a Singer/ Dancer with Holland America Cruise Lines with RWS and Associates, and Carnival Cruise Lines. Today Briana continues to spread her love of dance with Starmakers Academy of Dance as a part of their amazing teaching staff as well as teaching private lessons for Episcopal Boarding School for their Dance Department. She continues to dance with the Capitol Movement Dance company doing shows and performing for the community.
